Terms & Conditions

By booking services with BTP Auto Transport LLC ("Broker," "we," "us") the customer ("Shipper," "you") agrees the following terms and conditions.

BTP Auto Transport LLC is a licensed auto transport broker, not a motor carrier. We arrange transportation services through independent, third-party motor carriers that are properly licensed and insured. We do not own transport equipment and do not physically transport vehicles. 

All quotes are estimates only based on: current market conditions, carrier availability, vehicle size/condition/location, and pickup date flexibility. Pricing is not guaranteed until a carrier is secured. Changes to vehicle details, pickup dates, or locations may result in price adjustments.

All pickup and delivery dates are estimated, not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to : Weather, Traffic, Mechanical issues, Acts of God, Carrier scheduling changes. Such delays do not constitute breach of contract. 

Shipper agrees to:

• Provide accurate vehicle condition details (running or inoperable)
• Remove all personal items prior to transport
• Ensure vehicle is safe to load (no leaks, low battery disclosed)

Broker and carriers are not responsible for personal items left in the vehicle. 

To reserve a carrier, a booking deposit is required. 

• Deposit amount is disclosed at booking
• Remaining balance is paid directly to the carrier at delivery (unless otherwise agreed)

The booking deposit is refundable only if Broker is unable to secure a carrier within the agreed pickup window. Once a carrier is assigned and dispatched, the deposit may become non-refundable due to carrier reservation costs. 

Cancellations

If the shipper cancels:

• Before Dispatch: deposit refund eligibility depends on timing and carrier commitment
• After Dispatch: deposit may be non-refundable

Carrier cancellations or rescheduling due to market conditions or holiday schedules do not guarantee a refund.

Each motor carrier contracted to transport a vehicle is required to maintain cargo insurance coverage in accordance with federal regulations.

BTP Auto Transport LLC, as a broker, is not liable or responsible for loss, damage, delay, or theft of any vehicle while in transit, during pickup, transport, storage, or delivery. All liability for loss, damage, or theft rests solely with the motor carrier and is subject to the terms and limits of the carrier's insurance policy.

In the event of loss, damage or theft:

• All claims must be documented on the Bill of Lading (BOL) at delivery (or upon discovery, if applicable)
• Claims must be submitted directly to the carrier's insurance provider
• Failure to properly document or report issues may result in denial of the claim

Broker does not provide cargo insurance coverage and does not assume responsibility for carrier acts or omissions.

Shipper or consignee must:

• Inspect the vehicle thoroughly at pickup/delivery
• Note any damage clearly on the BOL before signing

The signed BOL serves as the official delivery receipt.

BTP Auto Transport LLC acts solely as a transportation broker and is not a motor carrier. Broker shall not be liable or responsible for any loss, damage, delay, theft, or disappearance of a vehicle or its contents, including but not limited to incidents occurring during pickup, transport, storage or delivery. Broker does not assume custody or control of vehicles at any time. All risks associated with transportation, including loss, damage, or theft, are the sole responsibility of the transporting motor carrier and are subject to the terms, conditions, and limits of the carrier's cargo insurance policy. 

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Broker's total liability for any claim, whether arising in contract, tort, or otherwise, shall be strictly limited to the amount of the broker fee collected, if any. In no event shall Broker be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. 

Shipper agrees to provide accurate contact information and remain reachable during the transport window. Failure to do so may result in delays, additional fees, or cancellation.

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the sate in which BTP Auto Transport LLC is registered. 

By submitting a booking request, paying a deposit, or authorizing dispatch, the Shipper acknowledges and agrees to these Terms & Conditions in full.
